I will reluctantly vote for the corrupt insider. No matter who we vote for we are sending a despicable serial abuser of women to the White House. One of them would ironically be the husband of the first female president.
I'm tired of the lesser of two evils arguement. We all need to strive for better choices.
Everyone is expecting the Republican party to correct and select a "normal" candidate next time but there is nothing in place to stop this from happening again.
And there is nothing in place to stop in on the Democratic side either.
What if next time both candidates are crazy?
Is there any reason to believe a left leaning candidate can't tap into the national anger and jerry rig the press the same way little Donny Drumpf did?
A sensible populist gave Hillary a good run, even while disadvantaged by insider dirty tricks. So, how about an un-sensible populist? How about a real outsider with extreme views who doesn't care a bit about the party? How about one who constantly makes headlines by with extreme views and outright lies.
Bernie tapped into the same anti-trade, middle class pessimism that Trump is tapping. There is plenty of it ... more than enough to fuel a left-trump in 2020 or 2024.
