A "learning" disability is more often than not an allergy to bad teaching. The subject is able to learn just fine, but not in the stupid way the teacher is working.
Too bad teachers are not commonly screened for a teaching disability that causes some of their students to not learn or to learn very poorly.
No child resists learning. Many resist teaching. And all too often resisting is labeled as a "disability."
